The Cougars are on a hot streak, going for their fifth straight win after a convincing 74-52 victory against Kansas State. On the other hand, Texas is looking to rebound from an 84-72 loss to No. 21 BYU, relying on their strong 10-2 home record.

Facing the top-ranked Houston defense, known for allowing just 51.9 points per game and 35.1% field-goal percentage, the Longhorns face a challenging offensive matchup.
